CEO – HSBC Asset Management

As global CEO of the investment management business of HSBC Group, he is responsible for leading the development and execution of growth of HSBC's ambition to be a world leader. He is also Chairman of HSBC Asset Management Committee, playing a pivotal role in the Asia Strategy. Nicolas has over 30 years of experience in the asset management and insurance business. His prior positions include Management Board member and Global CEO for Deutsche Asset Management, Chairmần and CEO of AXA France, member of AXA Group Management Committee, Vice Chairman of Group Investment Committee, CEO of AXA Investment Managers and CEO of AXA UK & Ireland.

He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique with an Actuarial Degree from the Centre d'Etudes Actuarielles and was awarded La Legiond'honneur in 2015 for services to the French financial industry.
