FEW MISTAKES INVESTORS CAN AVOID

We invest to create wealth in long term. Few mistakes may devoid us from being there such as:

Investing only basis Past Performance

One may consider other criteria also like the fund house, vintage, fund size, fund portfolio, strategy, expenses etc. This becomes more important post scheme categorization that happened few years back.

Taking too little or too much risk

Too much of anything is never a good idea. Basis financial goal, life stage, time horizon - select a suitable fund.

Concentrated Portfolio

The good old saying is true: Do not put all your eggs in one basket. Portfolio concentration increases the risk of a major decline in value when the investment avenue takes a hit.

Asset Allocation

In past few years, it is observed that no single asset has performed consistently on top. Asset allocation helps.

Trying to time the Market

This is also called as the recipe of disaster. Staying invested/ staggered investment helps in rupee cost averaging, hence creating wealth in long term.

Stay wise, stay invested!
