Responsible Investment Review

2022 was a year of tremendous progress in Sustainable Investing, and at HSBC Asset Management we are proud to have played our part. We are pleased to present this annual report on the important work taking place across our global business.

Our progress in responsible investment

Highlights of the year

$55 billion+ assets managed under Sustainable Investment strategies	Launched investment strategies under the sustainable investment themes circular economy, climate technology venture capital, sustainable infrastructure and more	$650 million raised by Climate Asset Management, our joint venture with Pollination, across two Natural Capital strategies
Awarded “ESG Advanced” by Morningstar1 “Among the industry’s strongest ESG proponents” for a second year running	#5 ranking out of 42 asset managers assessed in an ESG integration study conducted by Scope2	Our efforts in building a diversified and inclusive work environment have won us two recognitions at the Citywire Gender Diversity Awards 20223
