Index-based investing

We offer a range of index-based funds, also called passive funds, which aim to track the performance of a selected index.

The way we manage index-based funds

Passive funds are only as good as the indices they track.

  • We select the indices that capture the best possible representation of the market
  • We take a pragmatic approach to managing index funds, with two equally important objectives: tracking the index closely and adding value where appropriate

Remember that no investment is without risk

The value of investments and any income from them can go down as well as up and investors may not get back the amount originally invested. For investors holding overseas investments, the rate of currency exchange can also cause the value of these investments to go up or down.

Our strengths in managing index-based funds

The large scale and the diversity of our index funds allow us to deal at competitive prices and minimise costs for our clients.

Our index-based funds offer investors a wide range of investments, from global indices to regional and single-country indices.

They include index-tracker funds and ETFs.
